I've been working on this for a very long time now, and i don't know why i haven't posted here.
Basically it's an unreleased mod that let's do whatever you want. You can spawn stuff, remove stuff and pretty much change the whole environment.
The current build is not yet ready for an public release. It's still being updated and new stuff are added.
I've slowly started the private beta testing.

Here's a little New Years update for ya! ;)
Just some new images and a "fixed/added/update/"-list

Code: Select all

(added) cb-item for toggling obj-offset hack
(added) scale and rotating controls for the model placement tool
(added) menu items: "Exit to skating" and "Continue editing"
(updated) button controls, removed unload button
(updated) preview model for cars/peds/models
(fixed) random crashes when browsing models
(fixed) random crashes when unloading the editor
(fixed) random crashes when cloning different objects in one "session"
(fixed) random crashes when using different tools
(fixed) random crashes when browsing menus
(fixed) bug where the "root_window" is being disabled.
(fixed) state menu-item in "m_pedestrian" settings menu
(added) more anim sets/states for pedestrians
(fixed) bug where you would get the default car when entering a vehicle
(updated) console window to show more items
(added) a "run-script" function in the extra menu
(added) a "clone-from-name" function in the extra menu

Waiting for it, looks very nice and it looks that you've put a lot of work in it. I don't really play/mod thug2 but I'll definately check this out.

LEVELEDITOR V2

As I wrote some months ago, I started over with this project to create a much better mod.
Haven't really showed it to the public yet, so I want to give you a little taste of the new version.

Lots of stuff have been removed /or/ rewritten. Only the features that i thought was not good enough has been removed.
But I'm bringing in a new thing that I'm really proud of. Which is the ability to place objects from the Create-a-Park assets into any level. Total freedom!

I've really been looking forward to when you release this mod, I've been checking the thmods thread generally weekly to see if you've made any progress reports, it does look amazing, really nice. I'll be amazingly happy when you release this to the public as it might be able to get some people back in to the THPS community.

It's possible to save things in a qb and respawn them later... Do you think your mod will / are you considering trying to make your mod have an ability to create a save file, have that save file be able to be sent to others, so all could play on the same custom level (Custom AUS for example) as I would assume any changes made by the host would be probably client side, and not server side.

It already supports loading from a qb, but i cannot create the qb in the game yet. I'm working on that;)

Will contain mostly rails and non-solid objects.
Some tools are bugged and will not be included in this release.
Although, everything will be added automatically through my update system, eventually. :lol:

Nice, have you ever considered doing something like this, I think it would be possible however it would probably take too long.

Build a tool that allows users to graphically place a waypoint for something like a car, for example the car with the half pipe on it, and allow the user to skate on it.

So instead of just the car, it's also moving in the specified waypoint.

Yep i have worked with waypoints, and its planned for both vehicles and pedestrians...
Its just not in my priorities yet ;)
