Need help

Hi,
I downloaded thug2 and i installed it with daemon tools.
I tried to use several no-cd patches but everytime i try to open the game it says 'THUG2.exe does not respond '
i tried to reinstall the game and searched over the web but haven't found anything.
So please can someone help me with this ?
