Idea: Open source THPS like game...

Before I start: I just want to say that I'm really surprised that people still mod TH games.
It just go's to show that you guys are really dedicated.

If you guys are willing to go to the trouble to mod TH games for the PC: Why don't you guys (at least the people that know how to) make your own? I know that there was a project to make one once but It's dead: http://bluwiki.com/go/Flipped . It also seems that there is never gonna be another TH game on PC.

Anyways I wanted to bring this up for a Discussion.

BTW: I can't code, but trust me: If someone at least try's to make the game.....the maps will come...

Don't get me wrong: theses hacks/mods are really great!
But spending 3-4 years making a game can have better results then 3-4 years for a mod for a TH PC game, and lets face it: we will never see a mod for a TH PC game that is like anything you see in the most popular PC games.

i found a programm for tex and one for fnt but it says -> unknown file type or something :s
