This is the way to change the MHPB levels

1 - Download my tools for edit THPS2 PKR2 and MHPB PKR3 (the two are in this forum) in it's last versions or another useful tool

2 - Backup your mhpb "data.pkr"

3 - (this step isn't necesary for all levels)
With a hex editor open "data.pkr" and search and replace folder "newtex\7\" name (or another empty folder, pkr has 4 empty folders)
with this "data\audio\"

4 -(this step isn't necesary for all levels)
with my pkr3editor 1.1c add a file called "Blank.wav" (can be any valid wav file, i recommend a blank .wav file) in the new "data\audio\" folder

5 - with a pkr2editor extract all thps2 "all.pkr" files of folder "data\" that don't appear in mhpb "data.pkr" in "data\source\" folder

6 - with my pkr3editor 1.1c add all the extracted files from thps2 to "data\source\" in mhpb "data.pkr"

7 - replace the trigger files of mhpb with thps or thps2 triggers (*.trg files)

And you know how to change the psx references in trg file?? ... it would be great to fix the grind issue in the thps2 levels

You've no idea how happy I am when people make modifications for old games that no one seems to care about.

I'm sorry this sounds really lazy, but if someone sends me a new pkr with few levels imported, I will gladly play some THPS 1 or 2 levels online in MHPBMX, or play MHPBMX levels in THPS2 online, as both have netplay.

i can upload my modified pkr's if you want

i also modified the exe's and some dll's to use another pkr instead of "data.pkr"

so i have "BMX.exe" , this use "data.pkr" (the original game)
"BMXmod.exe" , this use "dat2.pkr"
"BMXmod2.exe" , this use "dat3.pkr"

i upload it all like an "add-on" so you only have to copy it in your mhpb folder

hm, is it possible somehow to change reference and make 'data' folder instead 'data.pkr'? (I already saw this question somewhere, but wanna hear another NO here )

mm i think is not possible to read a folder called "data" instead of "data.pkr"
the game is coded to read a pkr file...

but its possible to change the name of the pkr to use, in mhpb and in thps2 too

ahh and i finished the upload of the mhpb modified pkrs, i make a post with it
