Rename THE-MOD.exe to THAW.exe (The game exe) and it should work :0 (You should hear sounds when activating the cheats, if you can't hear them then game exe is still not THAW.exe

Well then it won't work for you. Great perfect balance alternative is custom balance. Just activate the cheat when you start doing the combo and it will be easy balance until you deactivate the cheat.

could it be cuz scale mod?

Wow what the hell... i'm not sure if it would help but try installing the .NET framework 3.5 or re-download the trainer (or use older trainer versions)
